The United Neighborhoods of Santa Clara County (UNSCC) is dedicated to fostering vibrant, engaged, and connected communities across the region. Since our founding in 1994, we have been a trusted resource for neighborhood associations, offering support, advocacy, and essential services to help local leaders improve their communities.

Our Mission
At UNSCC, we believe that thriving neighborhoods create a stronger county. Our mission is to:
✅ Support and empower neighborhood associations through training, networking, and resources.
✅ Advocate for local communities by ensuring their voices are heard by policymakers and city officials.
✅ Facilitate funding and fiscal sponsorship for neighborhood-driven projects that enhance quality of life.
✅ Promote collaboration between residents, businesses, and government agencies to drive positive change.
Our History
UNSCC was established by a group of dedicated community leaders who saw the need for an organization that could connect, strengthen, and amplify the efforts of neighborhood associations. Since then, we have:
🔹 Helped hundreds of neighborhood groups access funding and resources.
🔹 Served as a Fiscal Agent for the City of San José’s BeautifySJ Grant Program, managing millions of dollars in community investment.
🔹 Hosted workshops, resource fairs, and conferences to educate and empower local leaders.
🔹 Provided group-rate liability insurance to protect neighborhood events and activities.

We provide Fiscal Agent support to aid member's fundraising and low-cost, group rate Liability Insurance protection for meetings and events

Impact of UNSCC
Each year, UNSCC helps distribute hundreds of thousands of dollars in community grants, supporting neighborhood beautification, safety initiatives, and local events. Through our network, we connect neighborhood leaders, volunteers, and policymakers, ensuring that grassroots efforts lead to real, lasting change.
